Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Push the right and the left sides of the lower steering column trim cover in order to disengage the 4 claws (1, 2, 3, 4).




2. In the hole (1) near the tilt lever, spread the 2 claws (2, 3) in order to disengage the lower cover.




3. If necessary, turn the steering wheel in order to access the service holes (1, 2).




4. Use a screwdriver in the service holes in order to disengage the 2 claws (1, 2).
5. Remove the lower cover.




6. Disengage the claws (1, 2, 3) and remove the upper steering column trim cover.

Installation Procedure




1. Engage the claws (1, 2) and install the upper steering column trim cover to the steering column.




2. Engage the 2 claws (1, 2) and install the lower steering column trim cover.




3. Engage the 4 claws (1, 2, 3, 4).




4. Press the area around the claws (1) in order to engage the claws.
