Inside Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Disengage the two clips and slide the rear view mirror cover, if equipped.




2. Disengage the two retainers and remove the inner rear view mirror cover, if equipped.




3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the rearview mirror, if equipped.
4. Remove the screw (2) from the rear view mirror.
5. Slide the rear view mirror assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration and remove the rear view mirror.

Installation Procedure




1. Slide the rear view mirror assembly in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration to install it.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution)

2. Install the rear view mirror screw (2) and tighten to 2.5 Nm(22 lb in).
3. Connect the electrical connector (1), if equipped.




4. Engage the two retainers and temporarily install the rear view mirror cover, if equipped.




5. Slide the rear view mirror cover and engage the two retainers as shown in the illustration to install the cover, if equipped.
