Battery Tray Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Removal and Replacement)




2. Separate the 2 wire harness clamps from the battery carrier.




3. Remove the 2 bolts (1, 2).
4. Separate the radiator pipe from the battery carrier.
5. Remove the 4 bolts and battery carrier.

Installation Procedure

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

1. Install the battery carrier with the 4 bolts.

Tighten the bolts to 19 Nm (14 lb ft).




2. Connect the radiator pipe with the 2 bolts (1, 2).

Tighten the bolts to 8.8 Nm (78 lb in).




3. Connect the 2 wire harness clamps.
4. Install the battery clamp with the bolt and nut.

* Tighten the bolts to 6.5 Nm (58 lb in).
* Tighten the nut to 3.5 Nm (31 lb in).

5. Install the battery. Refer to Battery Replacement (Removal and Replacement).
