Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair




Washer Pump Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the right front lower wheel house panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).




2. Disconnect the washer hose from the front or rear washer motor and pump assembly, and drain the washer fluid.




3. Disconnect the front or rear washer pump electrical connector (1).
4. Using a small flat-bladed tool, remove the front or rear washer pump (2) from the washer solvent container (3).

Installation Procedure




1. Position the front or rear washer pump (2) to the washer solvent container (3) pressing in until fully seated.
2. Connect the electrical connector (1).




3. Connect the washer hose to the washer motor and pump assembly and fill the washer solvent container with washer solvent fluid.
4. Install the right front lower wheel house panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement (Service and Repair).
