Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement ().
2. Remove the front door applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement ().
3. Remove the front door sound insulator. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement (Front Side Door Insulator Replacement).
4. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
5. Remove the front door window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement (Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement).
6. Remove the front door window run channel.

* Depress the mushroom retainers at the top ends of the metal glass run channels.
* Remove the seal legs from the metal glass run channels.
* Starting from the rear corner of the door, remove the seal from the door header flange.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the window run channel seal.

* Install the seal to the door header flange, starting from the rear corner.
* Install the mushroom retainers at the top ends of the metal glass run channels.
* Install the seal legs to the metal glass run channels.

2. Install the front door window weatherstrip run channel assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement (Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement).
3. Install the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Install the front door sound insulator. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement (Front Side Door Insulator Replacement).
5. Install the front door applique. Refer to Front Door Frame Applique Replacement ().
6. Install the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement ().
