P0744

DTC PARAMETERS

DTC P0744 is set when there has been a ground/open or short to voltage fault in a TCC actuator circuit for a time less than the time required to set DTCs P0740 and P0743, twice per ignition cycle.

TEST DESCRIPTION

This DTC indicates an intermittent condition. Refer to DTCs P0740 and P0743 for circuits that may have intermillent faults. Also refer to diagnostic aids for these DTCs.

REPAIR VERIFICATION

Monitor DTC menu "Code Status" for "Pass Since Code Clear" and "Pass This Ignition Cycle." When both have passed, repair is verified.

Criteria for pass:

- Engine running

- Power present at actuators and no active faults for this actuator.
