Wiring Diagram / Circuit Description










Troubleshooting

1. DTC check

Check DTC referring to DTC Check DTC Check.

Is there any DTC(s)?
YES
Go to Step 2 of Engine System Check Engine System Check.
NO
Go to Step 2.

2. DTC check

Start engine and recheck DTC while engine running.

Is there any DTC(s)?
YES
Go to Step 2 of Engine System Check Engine System Check.
NO
Go to Step 3.

3. MIL Circuit check

Turn OFF ignition switch.
Disconnect connectors from ECM.

Does MIL turn ON at ignition switch turned ON?
YES
"PPL/YEL" wire circuit shorted to ground. Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
NO
Substitute a known-good ECM and recheck.
