1. Fuel pump inspection

Remove fuel filler cap and push engine switch to change ignition mode to "ON".
Confirm that fuel pump operating sound can be heard from fuel filler port for about 2 seconds before stopping.

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Check fuel pump circuit. Fuel Pump and Its Circuit Check

2. Fuel pressure check

Check fuel pressure. Fuel Pressure Check

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair defective part.

3. Power balance test

Check power balance. Power Balance Test

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Fuel system is in good condition.
NO -
Go to Step 4.

4. Fuel injector circuit check

Check fuel injector circuit. Fuel Injector Circuit Check

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Go to Step 5
NO -
Repair defective part.

5. Fuel injector check

Check fuel injector. Fuel Injector Inspection

Is it in good condition?
YES -
Replace ECM and recheck DTC. Service and Repair
NO -
Replace fuel injector.
