1. CHECK SPEAKER
(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK SPEAKER
(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.
Result
B -- INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
A -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the S16*1 and S15*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER)
(a) Disconnect the S16*1 and S15*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(b) Disconnect the S24 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH Side
for RH Side
(d) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
(e) Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
5. INSPECT FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the S20*1 and S19*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
NG -- REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)
(a) Disconnect the S31 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the S20*1 and S19*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH Side
for RH Side
(d) Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(e) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
7. CHECK SPEAKER
(a) Check the malfunctioning speakers.

B -- INSPECT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX
A -- Continue to next step.
8. INSPECT REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the S18*1 and S17*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
NG -- REPLACE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - REAR SPEAKER)
(a) Disconnect the S31 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the S18*1 and S17*2 speaker connectors.
HINT: *1: for RH Side
*2: for LH Side
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for LH Side
for RH Side
(d) Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly.
(e) Reconnect the speaker connectors.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
10. INSPECT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX
(a) Disconnect the S21 speaker connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(c) Reconnect the speaker connector.
NG -- REPLACE NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX
OK -- Continue to next step.
11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - W/ BOX NO. 1 SPEAKER)
(a) Disconnect the S24 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the S21 speaker connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
(d) Reconnect the stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(e) Reconnect the speaker connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
