Removal








2UZ-FE COOLING: RADIATOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Replacement
2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair
3. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL COOLER INLET HOSE AND NO. 1 OIL COOLER OUTLET HOSE (w/ Trailer Towing System)
(a) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses.





(b) Detach the claw to open the flexible hose clamp.
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER (w/ Trailer Towing System)
(a) For resin type, refer to the following procedures Removal.
(b) Except resin type, refer to the following procedures Removal.
5. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR LH





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.
(b) Remove the wire harness clamp.
6. REMOVE RADIATOR SIDE DEFLECTOR RH (w/o Trailer Towing System)





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 6 clips.
7. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY (w/ Trailer Towing System)
8. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER HOSE ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE INLET
11. REMOVE FAN SHROUD





(a) Loosen the 4 nuts holding the fluid coupling fan.
(b) Remove the fan and generator V-belt.
(c) Disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator tank upper.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts holding the fan shroud.
(e) Remove the 4 nuts of the fluid coupling fan, and then remove the shroud together with the coupling fan.
NOTE: Be careful not to damage the radiator core.

(f) Remove the fan pulley from the water pump.
12. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET
13. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 4 bolts and radiator.
