DESCRIPTION

* If the rear LH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear power window regulator switch LH, the rear power window regulator motor LH, the power window regulator master switch, the harness and connector.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:





(c) Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(c) Reinstall the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH.

NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH - REAR POWER WINDOW MOTOR LH)

(a) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.





(b) Disconnect the N10 rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(d) Reconnect the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH connector.

(e) Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH Removal.

(b) Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.

(c) Check that the motor gear rotates smoothly as follows.

OK:





(d) Reinstall the rear power window regulator motor assembly LH.

NG -- REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY LH Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER WINDOW MASTER SWITCH - REAR POWER WINDOW SWITCH LH)

(a) Disconnect the M2 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.





(b) Disconnect the N9 rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(d) Reconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly LH connector.

(e) Reconnect the power window regulator master switch assembly connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
