Reassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL SEAT TRACK ADJUSTING HANDLE

(a) Engage the 2 hooks to install the seat track adjusting handle to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the separate type front seatback assembly to the separate type front seat cushion spring assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 42 Nm (428 kgf-cm, 31 ft-lbf)

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE RH (for Front Passenger Side)

(a) Engage the 7 clamps to install the front seat wire RH.

(b) Connect the 4 connectors.

4. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT WIRE (w/ Lumbar Support)

(a) Connect the connector to install the No. 2 seat wire to the front seat wire.

(b) Engage the 2 clamps to install the No. 2 seat wire with front seat wire to the seat frame.

5. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION ECU (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

6. INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR Installation

7. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Install the No. 1 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

8. INSTALL NO. 2 FRONT SEAT CUSHION PROTECTOR

(a) Engage the 2 guides.

(b) Install the No. 2 front seat cushion protector with the screw.

9. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Engage the clip.

(b) Install the screw.

(c) Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Engage the clip.

(b) Install the screw.

(c) Engage the hook to install the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

11. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH

(a) Engage the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

12. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

(a) Engage the guide to install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

13. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Installation

14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback pad with 2 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(b) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 5 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

15. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Install the front seatback cover bracket with the 2 nuts.

Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
* For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
* Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
* Install the bracket securely.

(b) Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 front seat headrest supports.

(c) Using hog ring pliers, connect the fastening rubber to the separate type front seatback spring assembly with 3 new hog rings.

* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(d) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with pad with 5 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

(e) Engage the claw and 4 clamps to connect the airbag wire harness.

16. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Using hog ring pliers, install 15 new hog rings.

NOTICE:
* Be careful not to damage the cover.
* When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

17. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Engage each hook as shown in the illustration.

(b) for 6 Way Seat Type:

(1) Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

(d) Engage the 4 hooks to install the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

(e) Connect the seat heater wire harness.

(f) Engage the fastener to install the airbag wire harness.

(g) Connect the rubber band.

18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Engage the 5 claws to install the front seat inner cushion shield.

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Driver Side) Installation

20. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) Installation

21. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Lumbar Support) Installation

22. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) w/ Lumbar Support:

(1) Engage the 5 clamps.

(2) Connect the connector.

(b) Engage the clip and 6 claws to install the front seat cushion shield.

(c) Install the screw.

23. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (w/ Vertical Adjuster)

(a) Install the vertical adjusting handle with the screw.

24. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Engage the claw to install the reclining adjuster release handle.
