SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Connect each connector and clamp under the seat.

(c) Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.

(d) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(e) Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.





Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

(f) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the foremost position.

(g) Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.





Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

HINT
Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the guide.

(b) Engage the claw to install the rear inner seat track bracket cover.

3. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the rear outer seat track bracket cover.

4. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Lift up the seat track adjusting handle and move the seat to the rearmost position.

(b) Engage the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover.

5. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER

(a) Engage the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover.

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY

7. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

8. INSTALL DECK FLOOR BOX RH Installation

9. INSTALL REAR DECK FLOOR BOX Installation

10. INSTALL NO. 1 DECK BOARD Installation

11. INSTALL NO. 2 DECK BOARD Installation

12. INSTALL DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY Installation

13. INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) During the sliding operation of the front seat, check that the left and right adjusters move together smoothly and lock simultaneously. If the seat adjusters do not lock simultaneously, loosen the seat installation bolts to adjust the adjuster position.

(b) w/ Seat Heater System:

Check the seat heater operation.

(1) Turn the power switch on (IG).

(2) Turn the seat heater switch on.

(3) Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.

14. ZERO POINT CALIBRATION AND SENSITIVITY CHECK (for Front Passenger Side)

15. PERFORM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK (for Front Passenger Side)

Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

16. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT

Diagnosis System
