HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL: FRAME WIRE: INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL FRAME WIRE
CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.
NOTICE:
Insulate the removed terminals with insulating tape.
(a) Install a new frame wire with the 3 clamps.
(b) Insert the frame wire into the floor panel hole.

HINT
The arrow should be pointing toward the front of the vehicle.
(c) Install the bolt.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(d) Install the nut and clamp.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(e) Install the nut and 2 clamps.
Torque : 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 in-lbf)
(f) Install the heater water pipe sub-assembly with the nut.
Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)
(g) Connect the 4 clamps.
(h) Connect the connector to the engine room junction block assembly.
HINT
Engage the frame wire to the engine room junction block assembly as shown in the illustration and then connect the connector.
(i) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the floor panel.
(j) Install the wire harness protector and connect the 2 clamps to the floor panel.
(k) Connect the 2 wire harness clamps to the floor panel.
(l) Install the wire harness protector and connect the clamp to the floor panel.
2. INSTALL INVERTER RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY Installation
3. CONNECT HYBRID BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
CAUTION:
Wear insulated gloves.
(a) Install the frame wire on the hybrid battery junction block assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque : 9.0 Nm (92 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf)
NOTICE:
* Make sure that the ends of the frame wire are not crossed over each other.
* Be sure to connect the ends of the frame wire to the connect terminals.
(b) Connect the clamp and frame wire.
4. CHECK HIGH VOLTAGE CABLE CONNECTION Installation
5. CONNECT CABLE TO POSITIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
(a) Connect the 5 wire harness clamps.
(b) Install the nut, and connect the clamp.
Torque : 7.6 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 67 in-lbf)
(c) Install the terminal cover.
6. INSTALL UPPER HYBRID BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
7. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY EXHAUST DUCT Installation
8. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT Installation
9. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
Installation.
10. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD Installation
11. INSTALL TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Tonneau Cover) Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE REAR RH
(a) Using a transmission jack, hold the front suspension cross member.
NOTICE:
Be sure to position the transmission jack to properly support the front suspension cross member.
(b) Remove the bolt A
(c) Install the front suspension member brace rear RH with the 3 bolts.
Bolt A - Torque : 137 Nm (1397 kgf-cm, 101 ft-lbf)
Bolt B - Torque : 93 Nm (948 kgf-cm, 69 ft-lbf)
13. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR
(a) Install the No. 1 front floor heat insulator with the 3 nuts.
Torque : 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
14. INSTALL FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Installation.
15. INSTALL INVERTER WITH CONVERTER ASSEMBLY
Installation.
16. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
Installation.
