Preparations

Ignition off. Disconnect the battery negative lead




Check that the customer has provided the radio code.

Disassembling

Center console armrest





Remove:
- 4 screws for the lower section.
- 2 screws for the lock.

Entire center console

Panels and cover




The 2 screws at the rear edge can be accessed from under the rear seat. To remove the rear seat, see Rear seats Rear Seats.

Screws and connectors





Remove:
- 2 screws
- 5 connectors.
Lift up the rear edge of the center console and pull backwards.

Removing rear panel





Remove:
- 2 connectors.
- 6 nuts on the side.
- 3 screws from below.

Installing rear panel




When replacing the center console 6 holes must be drilled for the rear panel in the new center console.
Cut out a piece of the old center console and use it as a template to drill holes in the new center console.

Remove 5 screws.
