NOTE: Corrective action must be taken if the battery lead has been disconnected during fault-tracing, see Note when disconnecting/connecting the battery lead.


- Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds.
- Read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs): Click on the VCT 2000 symbol.
- Note any stored diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

No diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) should be stored. The SRS indicator lamp must be off.
