Replacing the cool box

Removal

Removing the coolbox





In the cargo compartment
- Insert two screwdrivers on each side of the coolbox. Slacken of the spring plate securing the cover.

In the passenger compartment
- fold down the cover for the coolbox
- pull the cover straight out.

Remove
- the left seat cushion. Pull the cushion straight up
- the connector, blue and black wiring.





In the cargo compartment
- Open the two catches in the backrest by pressing in the lock button using a screwdriver
- Carefully press the backrest forward approximately 5-6 centimeters. Do not damage the center console.





Remove
- the six screws.
- Lift out the coolbox.

Installation

Installing the coolbox





Caution! The wiring from the coolbox to the connector on the left-hand side must be routed to the right and underneath the reinforcement strut.

Install
- in reverse order.
Tighten the six screws for the coolbox. Tighten to 10 Nm.
