Checking Fluid Level

1. Bring the transmission up to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on) by driving the vehicle. Park the vehicle on level ground, turn the engine off, and then remove the drain plug.

2. Reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer, then refill the transmission to the upper mark on the dipstick.
- Automatic Transmission Fluid Capacity:
2.4 ltr. (2.5 US qt.) at changing
6.0 ltr. (6.3 US qt.) at overhaul
