Trunk/Liftgate Sensor/Switch (For Alarm): Testing and Inspection

1. Open the trunk lid.
2. Disconnect the 4P connector from the trunk latch switch.

Trunk Lock Actuator/Trunk Latch Switch Test:

3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

Trunk Lock Actuator/Trunk Latch Switch Test:

4. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.

CAUTION: To prevent damage to the actuator, apply battery voltage only momentarily.

5. If the actuator fails to work properly, replace it.
