Speedometer Reads High

PROBLEM

The difference between the speedometer's indicated speed and the actual speed may be greater than what the customer thinks is acceptable.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the speedometer assembly with the unit listed under PARTS INFORMATION. Refer to section 23 of the service manual for the replacement procedure.

NOTE:
This out-of-tolerance condition in the speedometer does not affect the odometer or trip meter. They still indicate the correct number of miles traveled.
