Acceleration/Deceleration Sensor: Service and Repair

G-Sensor:

REMOVAL
1. Center console
- Refer to "Body and Frame".

2. G-sensor wiring connector
3. G-sensor assembly fixing bolt
4. G-sensor assembly

INSPECTION REPAIR
Perform G-Sensor unit inspection. C-1 G-Sensor Unit Inspection

INSTALLATION
1. G-sensor assembly (4).
- Care should be taken so that the G-sensor is not installed in the wrong direction.

2. G-sensor assembly fixing bolt (3).
- Tighten the fixing bolt to the specified torque.

Specs:
Fixing Bolt 10 Nm (87 lb. in.)

3. G-sensor wiring connector (2).

4. Center console (1).
- Refer to "Body and Frame".
