A/T Gear Position Switch Test

1. Raise the car, and remove the transmission splash shield.
2. Disconnect the 10P connector from the A/T gear position switch.

A/T Gear Position Switch Test:

3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
^ Move the shift lever back and forth without pushing the shift lever at each switch position, and check for continuity within the range of free play of the shift lever.
^ If there is no continuity within the range of free play, adjust the position of the A/T gear position switch.
