Trunk Lid Torsion Bar Replacement

NOTE:
- Take care not to scratch the body.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. If equipped, remove the navigation unit.
2. With a torsion bar assembly tool, first remove the right torsion bar, then remove the left torsion bar.




3. Install the torsion bars in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- The shape of the right torsion bar and left torsion bar are shown. Install the torsion bars properly.
- If necessary, adjust the torsion bars.
- Make sure the trunk lid opens properly and locks securely.
