Power Seat Motor Position Sensor: Description and Operation

Power Seat Position Sensors

Each power seat motor has a reed switch sensor which sends a pulse to the power seat control unit when the motor rotates. The power seat control unit then stores the number of pulses for that seat position in its memory.
