Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Replacement 1.
Remove the
6 mm bolt and the countershaft speed sensor from the right side cover.
2.
Remove the
6 mm bolt and the mainshaft speed sensor from the transmission housing.
3.
Replace the O-ring with a new one before installing the countershaft speed sensor or the mainshaft speed sensor.
NOTE: Install the mainshaft speed sensor washer on the mainshaft speed sensor.
