Controller Test

1. Remove the instrument panel.




2. Disconnect the 6P connector (A) from the controller (B).
3. Measure the resistance between the No. 4 and No. 5 terminals while rotating the adjusting dial. The resistance should vary from 0 to 20,000 Ohms as the dial is rotated.
4. For '04-06 models, check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 6 terminals with the dial rotated to CANCEL position. There should be no continuity.
5. If the check is not as specified, replace the controller.
6. If necessary, check the illumination bulb (C).
