Tailgate Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement
Tailgate Outer Handle Switch Test/Replacement1. Open the tailgate.
2. Remove the tailgate lower trim panel.
3. Disconnect the 3P connector (A) and remove the two bolts.
4. Check for continuity between the terminals.
- There should be continuity between the No. 2 and No. 3 terminals when the switch is pressed.
- There should be no continuity between the No. 2 and No. 3 terminals when the switch is released.
5. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the tailgate outer handle switch.
