Hazard Warning Switch Test/Replacement

1. Remove the passenger's vent panel. Passenger's Vent Panel Removal/Installation

2. Push out the hazard warning switch (A) from behind the vent panel.

3. Disconnect the 6P connector (B) from the hazard warning switch.

4. Remove the two mounting screws, then remove the hazard warning switch from behind the upper panel.






5. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.

6. If the continuity is not as specified, replace the bulb(s) (C) or the hazard warning switch.
NOTE: Both illumination bulbs are connected in parallel. If there is continuity, remove one illumination bulb at a time and recheck.
