Compare measured gaps.
Testing and Inspection Install a new
ball joint if the difference is more than 0.2 mm (0.008 in).
If the difference is less than 0.2 mm (0.008 in), the knuckle
ball joint is OK.
Note: If any
ball joint is loose or damaged, replace the ball joint.
