Front Seat Ventilation Blower Motor Replacement

Seat-back Blower Motor

SRS components are located in this area. Review the SRS component locations Locations and the precautions and procedures Service and Repair before doing repairs or service.

NOTE:

- Take care not to tear the seams or damage the seat covers.
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Remove the back panel.

3. Disconnect the seat-back ventilation blower motor duct.

4. Release the wire tie (A), disconnect the blower motor connector (B) and remove the screws, then remove the blower motor (C) from the seat-back frame.






5. Install the blower motor in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the blower motor connector is plugged in properly.

Seat Cushion Blower Motor

1. Remove the front seat Front Seat Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the seat cushion ventilation blower motor duct.

3. Disconnect the blower motor connector (A), and detach the clips (B) then remove the blower motor (C) from the seat cushion frame.






4. Install the blower motor in the reverse order of removal, and note these items.

- Make sure the blower motor connector is plugged in properly.
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
