Refrigerant: Service and Repair
Ensure initial set up has been performed on refrigerant recovery unit as per manufactures instructions prior to discharging A/C system.1. Connect high pressure hose of refrigerant recovery unit to high pressure service valve on vehicle A/C system, then open coupler valve. Only a high pressure service valve is used for A/C system servicing. A low pressure service valve is not installed in this system.
2. Follow refrigerant recovery unit manufacturer's instructions and discharge system.
3. Disconnect A/C compressor clutch electrical connectors to prevent damage to A/C system if compressor is accidentally switched On with refrigerant system discharged.
