Blink Code Output Signal

OPERATION
The Blink Code Output Signal is connected to pin C 14 of the MPI control module, the signal is directional OUT only (PIN C 14 - OUTPUT ONLY).

PURPOSE
This signal is used for blink codes (Diagnostic Trouble Codes). The malfunction indicator lamp (CHECK ENGINE) in the dash panel is activated by this signal. The blink code output signal is also supplied the blue data link connector for LED test light blink code access.
