Subframe mounting bolt/washer

90, 90 Quattro from M.Y. 1993

Beginning with M.Y. 1993 the subframe rear mounting bolts -A- are M12 x 1.5.

When removing/installing the subframe rear mounting bolts note the following:




^ always replace bolt and washer

^ tighten to 70 Nm (52 ft lb) plus 1/4 turn (90°)

^ if threads in body are stripped, drill out and repair with commercially available M12 x 1.5 threaded insert and install new bolt and washer of original specification
