1. Rear final drive

2. Gasket
Pull off protective backing and adhere to joint

3. Drive axle
Repairing - Rear Axle Shaft Removal & Installation

CAUTION: If a vehicle has to be moved after removing a drive axle, temporarily install an outer CV joint to prevent damage to the wheel bearing.

4. Reinforcing plate
5. Bolt 45 Nm (33 ft lb)
6. Subframe

7. Hex bolt with washer/Collar bolt
Always replace
120 Nm (89 ft lb) plus additional 1/4-turn (90°)

WARNING: Bolt -7- must be loosened or tightened only while the vehicle is standing on the ground. Otherwise, there is risk of an accident.
