Piston Ring: Service and Repair

"TOP" inscription must point toward
piston crown.

Inner chamfer on plain ring must point toward
piston crown.

Outer chamfer of stepped ring must point toward
piston crown.

Remove and install
piston rings using ring expander as shown.
