Condition

Introduction of the new V-6 engine block designated AFC (with completely revised oil pressure system) requires that a new design oil filter must be used for proper oil pressure and delivery.

Service

When oil filter replacement is required:

Fig. 1 - Engine Code:

- Identify engine code (stamped on right side of engine block between cylinder head and hydraulic pump.)

- Replace with correct oil filter as listed below:

^ Engine code AAH must have: Part No.: 034 115 561A
^ Engine code AFC must have: Part No.: 078 115 561D

OIL FILTERS ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE!
