Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217








Mechatronics unit, Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217, Multi-function transmission range (TR) switch F125, Transmission input speed (RPM) sensor G182 and Transmission output speed (RPM) sensor G195, 09L, 6 Spd. A/T AWD

Location: the mechatronics unit is bolted to the underside of the transmission housing and covered by the transmission oil pan.

The mechatronics unit incorporates the hydraulic control system, the electronic control module and the sensors and actuators as a complete synchronized unit. This includes:
^ Transmission Control Module (TCM) J217
^ Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125
^ Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor G182
^ Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor G195
The "mechatronics" unit can only be replaced as a complete unit.

Note:
- Aft components mentioned are tested via Self-diagnosis.

- Removing and installing mechatronics unit.
