Cylinder Head Tightening Sequence
Tighten cylinder head bolts in - 1 through 10 - sequence as follows





Replace bolts
1. Tighten to 40 Nm
2. Tighten further 90°
3. Tighten further 90°

Checking Cylinder Head for Distortion





Check cylinder head at multiple points for distortion, using straight edge and feeler gauges
Maximum permissible distortion 0.05 mm

Guide Frame Tightening Sequence





Replace bolts
1. Tighten 1 to 6 Hand-tighten bolts
2. Tighten 1 to 6 to 8 Nm
3. Tighten 1 to 6 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn
