4-Pin Relay Carrier

Removing





- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery Ground (GND) wire. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] [1][2]Battery.

- Remove driver's storage compartment.

- Remove bolts - 1 - of fuse panel - 2 -.

- Remove fuse panel from central tube for instrument panel.

- Remove nuts - arrows - and remove Vehicle Electrical System Control Module (J519) - item 1 - with wires connected.





- Remove relay or control modules from 4-pin relay carrier.





- Identify wiring at threaded connections - 2 -, - 3 - and - 5 -.

- Remove wires at threaded connections.

- Remove screw - 1 - and nut - 4 -.

- Unclip fuse panel at 4-pin relay carrier.

- Detach relays and control modules and then unclip appropriate relay carrier.

Check the exact assignment of 4-pin relay carrier in the current wiring diagram Wiring diagrams, Troubleshooting & Component locations.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install wiring at threaded connections - 2 -, - 3 - and - 5 - according to identification.





- Connect battery. Required actions => [1][2]Battery.

- Install driver's storage compartment.
