Headlamp Alignment Control Module: Service and Repair



Headlight Range Control Modules J431, Removing And Installing

- Component location: On instrument panel support behind instrument cluster.

Removing
- If control module is replaced, select corresponding control module in "Guided Fault Finding".
- Remove instrument cluster.







- Remove bolts - arrows - and remove bracket - 1 - for Headlamp Range Control Module J431 from instrument panel support.







- Disconnect connector - 2 -.
- Remove nuts - arrows - and detach Headlamp Range Control Module J431 - item 1 -.


Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Install instrument cluster.

Tightening torques

- Control module to bracket: 2.5 Nm
- Bracket to instrument panel support: 3.0 Nm
