Subframe and Consoles, Securing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Locating pins (T10096)

• Engine/transmission jack (V.A.G 1383 A) with universal transmission support (V.A.G 1359/2)

Removing






To secure the subframe with the brackets, install the (T10096) in locations - 1 -, - 8 -, - 9 - and - 18 -.

- Replace bolts with (T10096) and tighten to 20 Nm.






- Replace the bolts with (T10096) and tighten to 20 Nm.






Position of front axle is now secured.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Make sure that (T10096) are replaced in succession with new bolts.
