Removing

Tire pressure monitoring control module 2 (J793) is located behind the glove compartment.

Before removing control module, read out code using Guided Fault Finding in "Replace control module" function.

- Remove the glove compartment.

- Unclip control module - 1 -.






- Disconnect connector - 2 - and remove control module.

- Remove tire pressure monitoring control module 2 - 1 - and disconnect the connector - 2 -.

Installing

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

- If tire pressure monitoring control module is replaced, system must be coded.

- Connect Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051 B) and select the control module in "Guided Functions".
