Removing

The tire pressure monitoring control module (J502) is located under the glove compartment.

Before removing control module, read out code using Guided Fault Finding in "Replace control module" function.

- Remove the cover - A - from the lower glove compartment cover - B -.






The cover - A - is secured by 4 retainers in the lower glove compartment cover - B -. These retainer can be difficult to remove, therefore be careful not to damage them when removing the lower glove compartment cover - B -.

- Unclip control module - 1 -.






- Disconnect connector - 2 - and remove control module.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- If The tire pressure monitoring control module is replaced, system must be coded. Refer to => [ Tire Pressure Monitoring System Usage, Direct System ] Tire Pressure Monitoring System Usage, Direct System.
