Transmission, Securing in Engine/Transmission Holder

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Holding Plate (VW 309)

• Transmission Support (VW 353)

• Holding Fixture (VW 540)

• Engine and Transmission Holder (VAS 6095)

Securing Transmission in Vertical Position

- Fasten the (VW 353) to the transmission using bolts - 1 - and - 2 -.





- Attach the (VW 309) to the (VW 353).

- Place the transmission into the (VAS 6095) using the shop crane (VAS 6100).





Supporting the Transmission Horizontally

- Attach the (VW 540) to the transmission - arrows -.





- Place the transmission into the (VAS 6095) using the (VAS 6100).
