Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Compress retainers and disconnect control cable.
3. Disconnect electrical plug, then remove drive motor attaching nuts and drive motor.
4. Press down spring clip and pull cable sleeve from drive motor.
5. Disconnect cable from pulling strap.
6. Reverse procedure to install, adjusting control cable as follows:
a. Start and run engine until operating temperature is reached.
b. Measure distance between control cable nipple and nipple holder. Distance should be .039-.079 inches.
c. If measurement is not within specifications, adjust as needed using nut and screw attached to cable.
