Knock Sensor: Locations
Knock Sensor (M50) Plug-in connection is located below the idling speed control (idling speed control not shown in this picture.) Disconnect plug-in connections (1) and (2).
Note: Knock sensor for cylinders 1 to 3 is located beneath temperature sensors, near the ventilation spigot on the alternator.
Release screw (2) and remove knock sensor for cylinders 4 to 6.
