Dear BMW Owner:

BMW of North America, Inc. (BMW NA) would like to notify you of a Service Action to further protect your investment in your automobile.

Throughout the production cycle of any car model, there are always technological improvements that are incorporated as running production changes. Normally, existing owners do not benefit from such changes; however, BMW NA believes its customers should benefit from one of these changes - new engine control module program. The new program contains a modification to improve engine starting under cold conditions.

This Service Action will be performed by your BMW dealer without charge for parts or labor, regardless of the vehicle mileage, until October 30, 1995. If this Service Action is performed after October 30, 1995 it will be subject to the terms of the BMW New Car Limited Warranty.

Please call for an appointment with your dealer so that a visit may be scheduled.
