DKT Interface
The throttle angle and the engine temperature are transferred via the Throttle Valve (DKT) interface. This involves a pulse width-modulated signal (square wave voltage with fixed frequency and variable duty factor).

At terminal 15 "ON", the Digital Motor Electronic (DME) control unit transmits the engine temperature and the throttle angle half a second after detecting an engine speed greater than 500 rpm.

Faults on this line are detected by the Electronic Transmission Control (EGS) control unit.
