Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Service and Repair
Replacing Coolant Temperature Sensor- Switch off ignition.
After checking function of Digital Motor Electronics (DME):
- Unfasten plug connection (1).
- Unscrew temperature sensor (2).
Tightening Torque, refer to 13 62 6AZ
13 62 Senders For Control Unit:
Installation Note: Always replace sealing ring.
- Interrogate fault memory of DME-control unit, check faults in memory then cancel fault memory. Check coolant level and top up if necessary.
