Safety Instructions On Risk Of Finger-Jam

When working on doors with power window regulators, disconnect connector from window regulator motor (risk of jamming fingers). This means that the control unit memory erases the position of the door window.

Keep to the following sequence if the power window motor has to be operated for the next work step:
1. Open the door
2. Close the rotary latch lock by hand
3. Connect the plug on the power window motor
4. The door window can be raised and lowered (without the automatic up/down function)


CAUTION!
The door must not be locked (rotary latch lock would be damaged). Operate the door handle to open the rotary latch lock.
